CommunitySupport.

Hornsby RSL Club provides over $500,000 in support every year to a diverse variety of community organisations and groups. These contributions have helped drive social inclusion initiatives, assisting those with disabilities, youth services, veterans welfare and local sporting activities.

We proudly support these groups as part of the ClubGRANTS program to cement our place as a cornerstone of the community.

ClubGRANTS.

ClubGRANTS is a shared State Government and club industry program which provides support for local community services and development needs. Each year Clubs in NSW provide grants totaling more than $100 million to local groups.

ClubGRANTS funding is broken down into 3 categories:

Category 1 funding focuses on specific community, welfare as well as social services and community development. It also includes community health services, as well as employment assistance activities. Applicants must apply directly through the local ClubGRANTS committee here.

Category 2 funding is for general community development and support activities, such as junior sport, grassroots sport or veteran welfare activities.

Category 3 funding is deducted from the Club’s gaming profits and placed in a state-wide pool to support large scale sport, health and community infrastructure.

Apply Here.

From the 1st September 2022 it became a requirement that Clubs move to the “ClubGRANTS Online” platform to manage the ClubGRANTS process. This is an online system operated by ClubsNSW.

Applications for the ClubGRANTS year ending 31 August 2025 is now open. To enable sufficient time for assessment and processing, applications to Hornsby RSL for Category 2 and Category 2 (In-Kind) support will close on 17 August 2025.

Hornsby RSL Club is now accepting applications for:

Category 2 Funding for local community development and support activities including sport. You can apply for Category 2 Funding here.

Category 2 In-Kind support is for local community groups who are seeking financial support to cover costs for room hire for meetings, functions and events at the Club. This includes support provided in the form of vouchers.  You can apply for Category 2 In-Kind Support here.

Category 2 applications are approved by the Board of Directors at the monthly board meetings and the Club will endeavour to advise applicants of their outcomes as soon as possible. For more information on ClubGRANTS, please visit the ClubGRANTS website here.
