We can't wait to welcome you back! Our number one priority and commitment has always been the safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff. The NSW Government has issued a Health Order which legislates access to the Club and will result in additional entry check in requirements.
Please note the Club has a legal obligation to enforce the Health Order entry requirements, and as such we ask for your patience and understanding. The most significant change on re-opening is that only fully vaccinated persons are eligible to enter our premises.
We ask that all patrons please follow the recommendations and procedure signage placed around the Club to ensure the safety of all. Abusive or threatening behaviour towards our employees as they attempt to execute their job will not be tolerated.
ACCESS TO CLUB & CHECK IN REQUIREMENTS
Vaccination Certificate or Certified Medical Contraindication
Under the current Public Health (COVID-19 General) Order 2021, members and guests are required to be fully vaccinated to enter Club premises. A fully vaccinated person means a person who –
- - has had 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine, or
- - has a medical contraindication certificate issued to the person (this includes a person who has had COVID-19 in the past 6 months and cannot yet be vaccinated)
Therefore, you will need to produce your vaccination certificate to gain access to the Club. There are several options to get proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations, depending on your situation, which can be found online by clicking here.
Alternatively, you will need to produce a medical exemption through your immunisation history statement or a certified medical contraindication, which must be in the approved form issues by Health NSW.
The contraindication certificate also includes a section for a practitioner to certify that a person has had COVID-19 in the past six months. Clubs cannot accept contraindication certificates which are not in the approved form. For instance, a letter from a general practitioner is not sufficient.
QR Code Check In
Under the current Public Health (COVID-19 General) Order 2021, members and guests are required to check in with the Service NSW QR Code for tracing purposes. Our sign is system is set up to automatically send the required details to Service NSW. If you wish to keep your own record of your sign in, you can also scan one of the provided Hornsby RSL Club check in codes readily available at both Club foyers. If you are unable to do this yourself, our staff can assist by recording your details for you.
Alternatively, if you don’t have a smart phone, you can register for a physical COVID-19 check-in card through Service NSW which we then simply scan to record your details for contact tracing purposes. More information regarding COVID-19 check-in cards can be found online by clicking here.
Club Sign In
In addition to the above Government mandated entry conditions, all members and guests will be required to sign into the Club as per the Registered Clubs Act. For your safety, mandatory temperature checks will be taking place upon entry for all patrons, as well as staff and contractors. Temperatures must be under 37.5 degrees Celsius. We will also be requesting that all patrons utilise the hand sanitisers available. If you are feeling unwell we ask you do not enter the Club and immediately go and get tested, and follow all advise from NSW Health.
We ask that when entering the Club you keep to the left and when leaving the Club, again please keep to your left. Staff will be available to direct patrons to the area in which they are visiting, to help disperse the crowd, reduce co-mingling in any areas, and encourage everyone to maintain a safe 1.5m distance from each other.
We ask that if you have visited any of the venues listed on the NSW Government Health website HERE, you please do not visit the Club until following all advice from NSW Health. Please review the below conditions of entry and patron notice before visiting the Club to ensure you can comply with all restrictions.
FITTED FACE COVERINGS
Under the current Public Health (COVID-19 General) Order 2021, members and guests (over the age of 12) are required to wear a fitted face covering when inside the Club. Fitted face coverings must be worn so that it covers the person’s nose and mouth. Fitted face coverings may only be removed when eating or drinking, or if requested by staff as part of an identity check.
A person is not required to wear a fitted face covering if the person –
- a) has a physical or mental health illness or condition, or disability, that makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable, and
- b) carries evidence showing –
- - that the person has the illness, condition or disability, and
- - the illness, condition or disability makes wearing a fitted face covering unsuitable, and
- - the person’s name and place of residence, and
- c) produces the evidence for inspection if requested to do so by a police officer
Evidence for the purposes of subclause listed above must be in the form of –
- a) a medical certificate or other written evidence signed by a registered health practitioner or a registered NDIS provider, or
- b) a statutory declaration by the person
Patrons may be refused entry if they don't comply or don't have a valid reason and cannot produce evidence as per section 2.16 of the Public Health Order.
STAYING COVID SAFE
Highly visible CovidSAFE Marshals will be walking around our venue tasked with ensuring compliance of social distancing rules, answering questions, and promoting good personal hygiene practices. Please always follow our CovidSAFE Marshal’s instructions as refusal to do so will result in being asked to leave the Club premises.
Additional cleaning and sanitising procedures will be in place in all areas of the Club, including in back of house areas that are utilised by staff. Hand sanitiser dispensers are available throughout the Club and we encourage all patrons to regularly utilise these for safety and comfort. Additionally, we encourage patrons to regularly wash their hands, in particular before and after eating, and after handling cash or visiting the bathroom.
Frequently touched surfaces such as button panels, handrails and bathrooms will be a focus of these additional procedures. We are pleased to announce the introduction of automatic sanitising stations on our escalator handrail belts for added safety.
How can I prove I’m fully vaccinated?

Can I come to the Club if I’ve only had one vaccine dose?
Under the current Public Health (COVID-19 General) Order 2021, you must have received both doses of the vaccine to enter the Club.
What if I can’t get vaccinated?
Under the current Public Health (COVID-19 General) Order 2021, you can enter Club premises if you can’t get vaccinated but will need to obtain and be able to produce a valid contraindication certificate. This is the only permitted form for proof of being unable to be vaccinated. The form must be completed by a registered medical practitioner.

Weekly Entertainment - Please note that limited activities are available whilst the Club is operating under the 4sqm rule. Information on available activities can be found by clicking here. Unfortunately, under the current health order, singing and dancing is not allowed in indoor areas. As such live music will not be introduced until this and area capacity restrictions are lifted.
Membership & Points - All memberships and member points will be extended by 15 weeks at no cost.
Birthday Rewards - for any birthdays falling in July, August, September & October, members will have until the end of November to come in and utilise the $20 of Birthday Points, redeemable at any of our rewards kiosks
