Appointment Announcement: Hornsby RSL Club Appoints New CEO to Lead Next Phase of Growth

Hornsby, 26th February 2025 - The Board of Directors of Hornsby RSL Club Ltd is

pleased to announce the appointment of David Gearing as the Club’s new Chief

Executive Officer, effective 21st April 2025.


David brings his extensive experience in leadership, industry operations including

hospitality, gaming, food and beverage, developments and acquisitions to the Club at

a pivotal time. With a strong track record in compliance, financial performance,

people development and operational excellence he is well-positioned to drive

Hornsby RSL’s strategic vision, ensuring continued excellence in member

experience, innovation, and community engagement.

In his new role, David will oversee all aspects of club operations, including gaming,

food and beverage, events, entertainment, and community initiatives. He will work

closely with the Board, our CFO, the management team and staff to ensure Hornsby

RSL continues to evolve and thrive in an ever-changing industry landscape.
