Hornsby RSL Club held its most recent AGM on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The Board has heard your voices and taken your concerns to heart. With a renewed commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence, we are dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of our members. As a result of the campaign run against the sitting board, a lot of energy and human capital was invested into protecting the club and the truth. This has had a real impact on the board, the club, and its people. It has also led to change, with Rob Kennerley deciding to stand down as President to take some time to re-energise and focus on delivering great outcomes for our members as a valued board member. Rob has been an exceptional leader of our club over the last 5 years and carried the weight of the recent campaign, working tirelessly to protect our club and its integrity. John Warren has been nominated and accepted the role of President for the coming period. This leadership change marks a fresh chapter, one focused on strengthening our club and fostering trust with every decision we make. It was mentioned from a member speaking from the floor last Sunday about a bright future ahead and together, we are committed to building a stronger future, keeping the interests of our members and the legacy of our club at the centre of all we do.
